The Concordanze series by Simone Del Sere is born from the exploration of linguistic codes that come together to generate a syntax that is essential in form and comprehensible to all in its coding.
Through recognizable symbols, universal in contemporary daily experience, the technique of the extroflexed canvas offers itself as a three-dimensional score that generates chromatic vibrations.
Like a score, in fact, the pictorial surface offers itself to the eye with synthetic colors and shapes that emerge from the canvas with a tangible physical presence. Recognizable symbols stand out on these compositions, recalling collective memories, archetypal visual codes and signs that belong to our shared experience.
Concordanze is also an investigation into the harmony between sign and surface, between tension and balance. The canvases, defined by light and relief, create a perceptive game that invites the viewer to an active dialogue, to seek connections and personal resonances within an essential language.
An invitation to find correspondences, to let yourself be crossed by the rhythm of shapes and colors, to discover new relationships between image and space.
